Wollongong Spiritualist Church would like to send out an open invitation to attend our services at any time you are visiting the NSW Illawarra area. We are a short two hour drive south of Sydney and Wollongong train station is only a short walk away from the church.
The church was officially opened in June 1969 and has always been open for public attendance.
We have a very lovely lady “Reverend Sue” who is available to legally perform all duties of the church and official ceremonies which include; Christenings, Funerals, Life Celebrations and Marriages. Being a not-for-profit organisation we run with the Grace of God, the donations from circles and services and the generous help of devoted committee members and church friends.
Our strengths lie in Spiritualism and the Spiritual Development available to all who enter this sacred place, and who are open to grow in the love and light of God. We recite the seven spiritual principles at the beginning of each church function and event, to unite the group consciousness and create a positive intention for our divine work. We ask persons who enter the church to be aware of Rights, Responsibilities and Respect for all; including those in spirit.
We consider our church to be a sacred place for worship and enlightenment and would like you to also experience the homely atmosphere created with love. Our Divine Service commences each Sunday afternoon at 2.00pm.
Our aim
The church’s aim is to provide an understanding of the survival of the spirit entity, from out of the physical world into the realms of the spiritual consciousness. To give a better understanding for all persons who seek an alternate path in life, for those who choose to open their minds to the higher levels, other than the third dimension on earth plane.To provide fellowship, comfort and understanding to those who seek the truth and help guide those persons who wish to follow their heart and minds, and let their intuition be their guide.These simple rules we apply, by allowing the God Force to guide our daily lives of integrity, with truth, light and love.Our mediums come with love to share for all, and brings this concept into reality by doing the addresses and demonstrations from our church platforms.
